Keep proof of purchase and repair costs attached to the right appliance or property for taxes, claims, and resale.

Why store receipts

  • Taxes and audits — Support deductions and capital improvement records.
  • Warranty claims — Many manufacturers ask for original purchase proof.
  • Landlords — Document CapEx vs repairs across units.

Add a receipt

  1. Open an appliance (or the receipts area for your property, if available).
  2. Choose Add receipt or Upload.
  3. Add vendor, date, amount, and optional notes.
  4. Attach a photo or PDF; mobile apps can use the camera.
File size and types

Follow your plan’s upload limits. Compress large images before uploading if you hit size errors.
